In my opinion the new ruling by the Supreme court on the decriminalization of bawdy houses as well as the decriminalization of living off of the avails is a positive thing.

Why? Though I am not an escort, I am sensitive to women's rights and I approve of the fact that it is ok for these women to have safe places to ply their trade, employ bodyguards, drivers, accountants and without the need to live in fear of anyone.

Contributing to society via their taxes, off of the streets and tucked safely and discreetly away from the public eye, these women are no longer marginalized as mere sex objects but valued as conscious women who chose to work in the oldest profession in the world. Where some moralists dislike the fact that prostitution even exists, it is absurd to believe that a logical strategy would be to eradicate it completely.

Since THAT will never happen (its as stupid as thinking that you can eradicate erections or thoughts), why not work with the truth?

The truth is:

Everywhere in the world prostitution exists in some form or another.

There is a very imaginary hypocritical line between the relationship between a spouse who financially supports the other spouse, an individual financially supporting a girlfriend/boyfriend/fuckfriend, a sugardaddy/sugarmommy, a prostitute and their john. The difference is when the husband and wife divorce, taxes are paid on the alimony whereas previous financial gifts to (spouse/gf/ff) were tax free. The prostitute can pay taxes on her income without fear of prosecution and furthermore, though I do not deny that there are drug-addicted, nymphomaniac prostitutes out there who would sell you their mother for 1$, there are also drug-free, well-educated intelligent women and men equalizing the score with the top 1% of society and everyone else who feels a bit horny but is not willing to seek out a relationship in a bar, on eharmony or on adultfriendfinder. There can be love, affection, laughter and healing in ALL of these interactions.

For those who say that pimps will get more power? To this I say: "BULLSHIT!!!" With this new ruling, the only ones who remain at a disadvantage are the pimps themselves since the ruling clearly states that living off of the avails becomes illegal if it is exploitative.

With additional revenue from the tax dollars of prostitutes social programs & hospitals can receive additional much-needed funding and perhaps Canada's pension plan will remain intact, even with the low birth rate. This is sustainable living people!

I LOOOOVE washing machines! I think they are the greatest invention in the entire world.

I was SO excited for the Monde Ose event: so titillating and luscious like juicy fruits were they all.
